Welcome back to school!\u00a0 In Language Arts today the students spent time in the library.\u00a0 We also organized the layers of our Argumentative Essay and turned it in.<\/p>\n

The students began their new unit today on Figurative Language. Today we focused on similes and metaphors. We will be continuing to learn about and practice identifying different types of figurative language throughout the course of the next two weeks.<\/p>\n

We are jumping right back in the swing of things in Language Arts!\u00a0 The end of the marking period is Friday, January 26th.\u00a0 This means that all of the students’ late work will be due on Friday, January 19th.\u00a0 This is next Friday. Please remember that I will take any late assignment from the marking period for full credit.\u00a0 I DO NOT take points off for late assignments.<\/p>\n
