In Language Arts today the students spent time in the library selecting new good fit books.\u00a0 We also spent time discussing grammar rules with various types of singular and plural nouns.\u00a0 Lastly, the students spent time working on the computer predicting what their article of the week is going to be about.<\/p>\n

The end of the First Marking Period will be next Friday, November 3rd.\u00a0 Per our team syllabus, that means that not late work for the marking period will be accepted after Friday, October 27th at 3:05 pm.\u00a0 I do not take points off of an assignment for turning it in late.\u00a0 All students are welcome to turn in anything they have not completed between now and Friday.\u00a0 This has been discussed in class as well.\u00a0 Please keep in mind that if a student is turning an assignment in late, it is very likely that it will not be graded until the last week of the marking period.\u00a0 I do not check for late assignments on a daily or even a weekly basis.<\/p>\n
