In Language Arts today the students participated in an activity where we explored the books within our classroom.\u00a0 The students were given a choice between six books to analyze using the iPick Strategy.\u00a0 When they were done analyzing, they shared what the book is about with the other people in their group.\u00a0 Any student interested in one of the books was encouraged to add it to their Book Wish List<\/em> in their interactive notebook.<\/p>\n

The students also practiced read to self during\u00a0 class and began thinking about a goal they may have for themselves in Language Arts.<\/p>\n
