{"id":210,"date":"2014-05-14T15:42:13","date_gmt":"2014-05-14T19:42:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/?p=210"},"modified":"2014-05-14T15:42:13","modified_gmt":"2014-05-14T19:42:13","slug":"wednesday-may-14-2014","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/trayloa\/2014\/05\/14\/wednesday-may-14-2014\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday, May 14, 2014"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello!<\/p>\n<p>Today in Language Arts the students continued to work on identifying poetic devices in song lyrics. \u00a0Students worked with the people at their table to identify poetic devices in the song lyrics brought in by the students. \u00a0I am currently in the process of having a few of these turned into a powerpoint show to help the students recall poetic devices.<\/p>\n<p>Students also worked on building our word wall during class. \u00a0I will have pictures of the word wall posted on the blog tomorrow. \u00a0I will work on updating vocabtest.com at that time as well.<\/p>\n<p>Homework: One hour in the vocabulary section of MobyMax due tomorrow. \u00a0To access this, log on to mobymax.com. \u00a0The student&#8217;s username is their name in all lowercase letters. \u00a0For most students, this is their first name. \u00a0For students who have the same name as someone else, their username is their last name. \u00a0These students should know who they are. \u00a0The password to log in is the student&#8217;s ID number.<\/p>\n<p>Journal Topic: Choice day! \u00a0Write about a topic of your choice.<\/p>\n<p>Suggested Topic: If you could create your own ipad application, what would it be and why?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hello!
