In Language Arts today the students spent time discussing what Daily 5 CAFE looks like. We also created the strategy board in our classroom. \u00a0Once students take the NWEA assessment, we will use that information to determine appropriate strategies for each student.<\/p>\n

The students also spent time signing up for all of the technology we will be using in our classroom. As we use the sites, we will spend more time learning how they work.<\/p>\n

All students were sent home with a movie permission slip. \u00a0This needs to be signed and returned by Friday. \u00a0This gives students permission to watch PG movies at school if we are having a school reward or relating it to something we have learned in class. \u00a0This does not happen too often.<\/p>\n

Lastly, tonight is Open House from 6:00 to 7:30. Please try to arrive on time since families will be following the students’ schedules. \u00a0Each child has been sent home with their schedule today for families to use tonight. \u00a0I look forward to meeting all of you!<\/p>\n
