In Language Arts today we had the Middle School Literacy Coordinator come into our classroom and discuss Summer Learning with our students. \u00a0This is a district initiative and a requirement for all students. \u00a0More information will be coming home about Summer Learning within the last few days of school.<\/p>\n

The students also spent time in class reading chapter 19 of The Giver<\/em> which is the climax of our story. \u00a0We will be finishing up the last 4 chapters of the novel next week.<\/p>\n

Lastly, the students spent time working on the chapters 16-18 guided questions in their literature circles.<\/p>\n
