In Language Arts today the students spent time working on their folktale project. \u00a0At this point, the students should be almost finished with their powerpoint. \u00a0They will be given more time in class tomorrow to work on it.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow the students will also be given their scrapbook paper to work on their theme scrapbook pages. They will be given time in class tomorrow and Wednesday to work on it. On Thursday, the students will be given time for finishing touches and practicing presentations. \u00a0We will begin presenting during the last 40 minutes of class on Thursday and continue presentations on Friday.<\/p>\n
At this point, I am done grading 3rd and 4th hours’ papers. \u00a0I have started working on 2nd hour’s papers and I will have them finished and all grades updated by Friday. \u00a0The presentation grades will be updated on Friday too. \u00a0As soon as I am done grading papers, I will be sending home progress reports. \u00a0I will post this to the blog once I have done it.<\/p>\n
NWEA testing for the end of the year will be taking place next Wednesday and Thursday. \u00a0Any student who is absent will need to take make up tests next Friday and the following Monday. Please encourage your children to read good fit books, spend time in MobyMax Vocabulary, and Read Theory in order to prepare.<\/p>\n
