In Language Arts today the students continued to learn about characterization\u00a0by gathering textual evidence about the character they focused on yesterday. They added this evidence to their sticky note statement that they wrote in class yesterday.<\/p>\n

The students also continued to learn about poetry by looking at terms associated with poems.<\/p>\n

Lastly, the students spent time reading chapters 9-11 of Tuck Everlasting and they continued to learn about verbs.<\/p>\n

The verbs section of MobyMax was assigned today and will be due on Friday, March 17th which is the last day of 4th Marking.<\/p>\n

Progress reports for Language Arts were sent home with students today. \u00a0Please ask your child if they received one or check parent\/student connect for grades. \u00a0At this point, Language Arts is completely updated. \u00a0Many students have low scores due to lack of homework completion. \u00a0I will still be accepting late work until next Friday, March 10th at 3:05 pm.<\/p>\n
