In Language Arts today the students took their Elements of a Story Part Two Test. \u00a0I am working to have these tests graded as soon as possible. \u00a0I should have grades updated late this evening. Please bear with me since I am inputting grades\u00a0as I go and students’ grades will look very low until those scores are put in.<\/p>\n

The students were also given their Article of the Week for this week. \u00a0They were asked to identify the text features, read them, and predict what the article is going to be about. \u00a0We will read the article in class tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Lastly, the students were given their reading log for break. \u00a0I am not<\/strong> requiring the reading log to be due on Friday. \u00a0Instead, I will collect all logs on Monday, January 9th<\/strong>. \u00a0That is when the response will be due. \u00a0Between now and then, the students should be reading for 300 minutes. \u00a0That is still 100 minutes each week and it is the only homework assignment I will be giving over the break. There are three places for families to sign but I only need one signature for all 300 minutes.<\/p>\n
