Today in Language Arts the students continued to learn about text features. At this point, we have learned about maps, charts\/graphs, types of print, the table of contents, glossaries, and indexes. The students also continued to learn about author’s purpose. \u00a0The students participated in an activity where they had to place various writing scenarios with the correct reasoning behind why authors would write on each topic.<\/p>\n

Have a great evening and don’t forget to wear black and white tomorrow for spirit day!<\/p>\n
