Hello everyone Happy Tuesday:<\/p>\n

Tomorrow is Late Start- school begins at 9:35!<\/p>\n

Today in class the students took the NWEA practice survey for math. \u00a0We will take the practice survey for reading tomorrow. \u00a0We will take our NWEA tests next week and possibly this Friday. \u00a0Next week is the end of the marking period so we will be taking our end of the marking period tests. \u00a0Our science test will be on Friday this week along with our spelling test. \u00a0A study guide will come home today. \u00a0Please practice with your child. \u00a0Next week we will take our end of the unit social studies test and math test at the end of the week. \u00a0Please make sure your child is here and has good attendance.<\/p>\n

    Today your child is bring home a math test and a math classroom assignment. \u00a0Many students did very poorly on the math worksheet- some reasons are because they rushed, didn’t read the directions, \u00a0or needed more practice with the skill. \u00a0Due to these reasons, I am giving the class an opportunity to redo this assignment. \u00a0I will regive the assignment next week. \u00a0It is worth 12 points. \u00a0I will take the better of the two grades in my grade book. \u00a0This means if your child got a zero, and then gets a 12\/12 next week, I will put the 12\/12 in my grade book and erase the zero. \u00a0Please practice double digit addition and subtraction with your child this week so they can improve. \u00a0Congrats to those students who got a 12\/12 this time. \u00a0This is a difficult concept and everyone learns at their own rate- I want to give everyone the chance to be successful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
