{"id":698,"date":"2019-09-24T13:29:42","date_gmt":"2019-09-24T17:29:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/timpfela\/?p=698"},"modified":"2019-10-09T10:18:21","modified_gmt":"2019-10-09T14:18:21","slug":"narrative-unit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/timpfela\/2019\/09\/24\/narrative-unit\/","title":{"rendered":"Narrative Unit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Last week we began our narrative unit in Language Arts.&nbsp; Students took a pre-assessment &nbsp;and reflected on their scores today in class.&nbsp; Tomorrow, we will create a foldable, which is a multi-dimensional graphic organizer that can be used to organize information on narratives and reinforce skills taught in class.&nbsp; We will also start taking notes on the narrative elements and the plot diagram.&nbsp;&nbsp; A Plot Diagram example is shown below.
