DUE FRIDAY!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Directions<\/strong>:\u00a0Each person will receive a passport from a REAL PERSON who lived during the Holocaust. You will take the information from the passport and create a poster.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you scroll down, it will say, “Browse All.” As long as you wrote down the name in class, you should be able to locate your individual.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  1. Title (Name)<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Year Born AND age TODAY<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Summary of their experience (3-4 sentences)<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. EXPLAIN if they survived or not<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. A rule that would affect your person and WHY<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Picture (person OR symbol)- Must be DRAWN<\/span>\n

    • NOTE<\/em>: I do not want to see a bunch of Star of Davids and I will not tolerate swastikas. Be creative and respectful! Remember, you are not graded on how well you draw. You are graded on the effort you put forth during this project and following the provided guidelines!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      • Jews were required to wear a yellow star<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Jews were required to turn in their bicycles<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Jews were forbidden to use streetcars<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Jews were forbidden to ride in cars, even if it were their own<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Jews were required to do their shopping between 3-5 p.m.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Jews could only go to Jewish owned barbershops and beauty parlors<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Jews were not allowed in the streets between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Jews were forbidden to go to the theaters, movies, or any other form of entertainment<\/span><\/li>\n
