We made it through another week of online\/remote learning.  Before we know it, the school year will be over!  Thank you all for your hard work, participation, and patience during these uncertain times.  Here are announcements before we start today&#8217;s activities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phone Calls and Personal Activities<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>for TODAY, Thursday, May 28<\/strong><br>Mrs. Askar and I will be calling families who scheduled a Thursday phone call<strong> today<\/strong>&nbsp;from 12-3 PM. We will be calling from a blocked phone number, so please do not be alarmed. If you miss our call, we will leave a message. If you would like a call back, please message me on Remind.<br>I will send your child\u2019s personal activities on Remind later this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Last Day of Online\/Remote Learning<\/strong><br>Our last day of online\/remote learning is on <strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Monday, June 8, 2020<\/span><\/strong>.  I will post our last activities on my blog that morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Next Week: Last Week of Phone Calls<\/strong><br>Next week (week of June 1, 2020) is our last week of phone calls.  As always, Mrs. Askar and I will call families who scheduled a Tuesday or Thursday phone call from 12-3 PM. Your child should write capital, &#8220;Z,&#8221; three times and lower case, &#8220;z,&#8221; three times. Today, we are going to learn about the number 18.  18 means ten and eight more. To keep the consistency with what we do at school, I encourage you to follow the Plan, Do, Review process. Here is the Work Time process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Planning Time (5 minutes): Build your child\u2019s ability to organize their time by having them make a \u201cplan\u201d with you about what they would like to play with.&nbsp; Children do this everyday with us at school. It helps children learn to organize their thoughts.
