We successfully completed another week of online\/remote learning!  Thank you all for your patience and cooperation during this time.  Before we start today&#8217;s activities, here are some announcements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Memorial Day: No School Friday, May 22 &amp; Monday, May 25<\/strong><br>There is no school on Friday, May 22 and Monday, May 25 due to Memorial Day. Next week, we will resume online\/remote learning on Tuesday, May 26.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Phone Calls and Personal Activities<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>for TODAY, Thursday, May 21<\/strong><br>Mrs. Askar and I will be calling families who scheduled a Thursday phone call <strong>today<\/strong> from 12-3 PM. We will be calling from a blocked phone number, so please do not be alarmed. If you miss our call, we will leave a message. If you would like a call back, please message me on Remind.<br>I will send your child\u2019s personal activities on Remind later this morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Free Meal Distributions<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Schedule Change (Week of May 18)<\/strong><br>Due to the Memorial Day weekend, here is a minor schedule change this week for the free meal distributions. Your child should write capital, &#8220;X,&#8221; three times and lower-case, &#8220;x,&#8221; three times.<\/li><li>Practice saying the letter, &#8220;X, x,&#8221; sound.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Math Activity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are going to continue learning our teen numbers. To keep the consistency with what we do at school, I encourage you to follow the Plan, Do, Review process. Here is the Work Time process:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Planning Time (5 minutes): Build your child\u2019s ability to organize their time by having them make a \u201cplan\u201d with you about what they would like to play with.&nbsp; Children do this everyday with us at school. It helps children learn to organize their thoughts.
