We return Monday, January 6th, from break.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Marking Period 2 started November 4th and runs through January 17, 2020. ALL LATE WORK FOR MP2 WILL BE DUE ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 10th. 1\/10\/20 falls on the Friday we return from Winter Break. Students will receive a missing work list by Wednesday, December 18th.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The FINAL DRAFT of the compare\/contrast paper is DUE WEDNESDAY, 12\/18. It CAN be typed; students are responsible for printing their own paper. Our school library can be used to print the papers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A RUBRIC WAS HANDED OUT DETAILING EXPECTATIONS, AND CAN ALSO BE FOUND IN GOOGLE CLASSROOM.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last week\u2019s reading journal is due today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>There will be no assigned homework over break, other than the expectation that students are doing daily reading.  Late work is due January 10th; this is a great time to get that completed!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wednesday, December 18th, is a LATE START.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Library time is scheduled every week (mostly on Friday).&nbsp;<\/strong>I am happy to send students to the library before Friday if it is needed. Students may check out 3 library books at one time.&nbsp;<strong>Students must have a barcode on their planner to check out a book until we have student ID\u2019s.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Students who are one or more minutes late to class will be marked Tardy.&nbsp;<\/strong>At 3 tardies, I will contact home via email, and copy the front office on the email. At 4 tardies, students will be referred to the office AND serve a lunch detention.&nbsp;An updated copy of our tardy policy is on my blog!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please add yourselves to our classroom Remind account!<\/strong>&nbsp;I will be sending important information throughout the year via Remind text.
