Our first swimming unit starts Monday 10\/16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is our introduction to swimming.  We test students to see what level they are at and then go over swimming basics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students will need:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Swim Trunks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Towel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Goggles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Slides\/Sandals (if they want for in the locker room area)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Soap\/Shampoo (if they want to rinse off\/clean after being in the pool)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Kroger\/shopping bag (to bring home their items and clean)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deodorant\/hygiene product (to wear after swimming) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Students should have a locker with a lock that they can place their belongings in while they swim.  They need to know how to change with a towel wrapped around them. They will need to be able to follow pool rules and procedures so that all students are safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Swimming starts Monday.
