The Technology Department has been hard at work providing Blended Learning opportunities for teachers and students. One of the powerful tools that we have is Mahara. In order to help teachers, tutorials have been created to assist in the use of Mahara. Please see below for feedback from a Bryant teacher (Joann Harper) on her use within class.<\/p>\n
Thanks for your help last week. \u2018Just wanted to give you some feedback on the web technology, as you asked.<\/p>\n
Your timing was just right for I was looking for a way to publish our 6 + 1 writing strategies for \u00a0our seventh grade capstone projects. \u00a0For some students, this was a great place to add the \u201c +1\u201d\u00a0 so students could publish their work.\u00a0 \u00a0A few \u00a0wrote journal entries and others created PowerPoint presentations.\u00a0 \u00a0Some of my \u201cEarly Adaptors\u201d\u00a0 jumped right into the e-Portfolio writing tool\u2014The hardest thing we\u2019ve found so far is how to correctly pronounce \u201cMahara!\u201d\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The tutorials are just right\u2014short, sweet and very easy to understand.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Thanks again,<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Joann Harper<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n Bryant<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If you would like to watch the videos<\/a>, click the link<\/a>.
