We are calling this DEC 2.0.<\/p>\n<p>This site will provide many improvements over the current version of DEC. For example, we will be able to allow parents to view the curriculum as a Guest. The site is also much more visually appealing. We need your help to make the site as useful and user friendly as possible.<\/p>\n<p>Anyone can view the site by going to the <a href=\"https:\/\/dec.dearbornschools.org\/\">DEC 2.0 site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If you use the &#8220;Log in as guest&#8221;, you&#8217;ll be able to see what is there.<\/li>\n<li>If you sign in as an employee, you&#8217;ll be able to Enroll in the course. Once enrolled, you will see everything in the course. Please note that you must <strong>enroll<\/strong> in the course to see everything.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are currently two courses available for review\/feedback. <a href=\"https:\/\/dec.dearbornschools.org\/course\/view.php?id=3\">Fifth Grade Marking Period 1<\/a>\u00a0is our current elementary example. <a href=\"https:\/\/dec.dearbornschools.org\/course\/view.php?id=2\">Biology<\/a> is the current model for secondary. <em>(Please remember that you must <strong>ENROLL<\/strong> to see the entire course)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Once you view the course, we&#8217;d love your feedback. We have a <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/a\/dearbornschools.org\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSdgv5oatTuKD61lR80mfqKk_kJobhCd8cR1wu5XiQCdnkQF0w\/viewform\">DEC 2.0 5th Grade feedback form<\/a> set up so that we can collect your thoughts and tailor\u00a0the site to teacher needs.<\/p>\n<p>Our timeline with DEC 2.0 is ambitious:<\/p>\n<p><b>\u00a0DEC 2.0 work plan to be shared with meeting participants from Nov-March\/April.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>DEC 2.0 committee: \u00a0elementary and secondary: goal is to finalize prototype for DEC 2.0. &#8211;\u00a0<\/b><b>Format, structure, plan to expand resources<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are working on a update the Dearborn Educational Curriculum site.
