    Social Studies Objectives:<\/b><\/p>\n

    • Explore how social scientists use a variety of sources to investigate the past.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Compare and contrast environmental, economic and social institutions of early civilizations.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Use maps to locate, analyze and describe how major river systems supported permanent settlements, and the development of early civilizations.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Identify and describe the beliefs of the five major religions.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Identify and explain factors that contribute to conflict and cooperation between and among cultural groups.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Explain how the purposes served by the various types of government affected societal relationships.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Zoom Norms:<\/b><\/p>\n

      • Be <\/span>prepared<\/b> and on <\/span>time<\/b> every day.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Find a quiet space to focus with no disruptions.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • No use of other electronics during zoom meetings.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Take bathroom breaks between zoom sessions.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Lessons will be recorded during zoom sessions\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Schoology:<\/b><\/p>\n

        • This is where you will go for everything.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • Sign in with your school id email and password.<\/span><\/li>\n
        • You can find all assignments, zoom links, discussions, announcements, quizzes, tests, bell work, recordings, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Assignments:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

          • All work is due on time.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • For every day that an assignment is late, 10 percent is deducted from your total score. On day 4, a zero will be given.<\/span><\/li>\n
          • Use google calendar or other methods(planner, desk calendar) to track assignments and zoom meetings.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            Chromebook Care:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

            • Keep Chromebook plugged in and charged.<\/span><\/li>\n
            • You will be responsible for any damage to your Chromebook.<\/span><\/li>\n
