Happy Mother\u2019s Day!\u00a0 I hope you had a chance to celebrate with your loved ones this weekend.\u00a0 Miller is participating in the Olive Garden fundraiser for leukemia.\u00a0 Your child received a small bank with a flyer explaining this great cause.\u00a0 Please consider donating and asking family members to help out as well.\u00a0 The class that raises the most money will win a pasta party from Olive Garden.\u00a0 Wednesday is a late start.\u00a0 Here is our focus for this week.<\/p>\n
Math:\u00a0 We are starting our new module on fractions.<\/p>\n
Science:\u00a0 We will continue studying animal adaptations, learned behaviors, and instincts that help an animal survive.<\/p>\n
Social Studies:\u00a0 We will finish our unit on government this week with a study guide coming home later in the week.\u00a0 A test is planned for next week.<\/p>\n
Reading:\u00a0 We will be focusing on literature this week and being able to recount the main events in a story.<\/p>\n
