Good afternoon!\u00a0 It\u2019s hard to believe May starts this week.\u00a0 With only a few weeks left in the school year, we have a lot to do still.\u00a0 This week we will be taking the MStep ELA and Math tests.\u00a0 Testing will take place Tuesday-Friday mornings.\u00a0 Please make sure your child gets a good night\u2019s sleep and breakfast in the morning.\u00a0 Also, it is extremely important that all students are in school on time as testing will begin right away.\u00a0 When a student comes in late it disrupts the entire class and creates unnecessary test anxiety for the student that now has to catch up to where the rest of the class is.\u00a0 Due to testing this week there will be no spelling test on Friday and homework will be limited.\u00a0 Here is what we will be doing when we are not testing.<\/p>\n
Math:\u00a0 We will be using area models to solve word problems.<\/p>\n
Science:\u00a0 We will be investigating crayfish structures and their functions.<\/p>\n
Social Studies:\u00a0 We will be starting our last unit on government.<\/p>\n
Reading:\u00a0 We will be completing IReady lessons.<\/p>\n
