Good afternoon!\u00a0 It\u2019s hard to believe we are already at the end of March and the end of the third card marking.\u00a0 This will be the last week in card marking three.\u00a0 It is important all assignments are turned in on time.\u00a0 Parent teacher conferences will be the week we come back from spring break on Wednesday, April 10th.\u00a0 I will not be meeting with every parent this time, but if I need to meet with you I will be sending home a conference slip this week with a time.\u00a0 Please confirm if that time will work for you or not. This is also the last week for March is Reading Month activities.\u00a0 We will be shopping at the book fair on Tuesday afternoon. We will be having book bingo on Thursday from 4:30-5:30.\u00a0 Everyone gets a book.\u00a0 It will be a lot of fun and I hope everyone can make it!<\/h3>\n

Here is what we have planned for this week:<\/h3>\n

Math:\u00a0 We will be finishing up module 3.\u00a0 A study guide will come home Wednesday and we will review Thursday.\u00a0 The test will be on Friday.<\/h3>\n

Science:\u00a0 We are continuing to study seeds this week.\u00a0 \u00a0We will be observing seed growth and drawing models of our observations.<\/h3>\n

Reading:\u00a0 We are focusing on test taking skills in informational reading passages as we prepare for MSTEP.<\/h3>\n

Writing:\u00a0 We will be working on passage based writing in response to a reading article.\u00a0 We are focusing on how to answer the question completely, cite evidence from the text to support the answer, and explain the evidence from our own thoughts and ideas about the topic.<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
