We won’t be in class together again this year. I am very sad to hear that but I am thankful that we have the chance to help other people be safe and healthy. When this is over we will make plans to have a HUGE PICNIC in the park.

Next week is “Spring Break” so there will be no assignments. I will still post just to stay in touch. Send me pictures of what you are doing and I will do the same.

On April 13 we start with lesson again. You MUST treat the work I give as regular school work and get it done. If something is hard then ask someone in your house. Today I had to let seven families know that their child isn’t doing all the work. You know I hate “telling” on you – I hate that. Please do your work – it really makes me sad and uncomfortable to put more stress on your parents by telling them that you fell behind. Just like school if there is a REAL reason you can’t do your work (like the monster under your bed ate your arm) then ask your PARENT to email me and let me know.

Here is your last math lesson for a week (unless you have stuff to catch up on)

MATH – Designing perpendicular lines on a grid

The video would not load but this lesson is not too hard – do ZEARN 15 first then read and hi-light the homework helper, and do Succeed 15. IT SAYS YOU NEED A RIGHT TRIANGLE TEMPLATE – YOU DO NOT – USE A STRAIGHT EDGE.

Do 5th grade Math IXL AA.5. This is good practice for perpendicular, parallel, and intersecting lines. You need to get a score of 80 – 100. If you make a mistake READ the explanation!!!!!! Learn from your mistakes …please!

SOCIAL STUDIES

You can rewatch yesterday’s video to get in the mood.

Read pages 116 – 118 “Taxation without Representation – Colonist Fight Back” You are going to find out what is really ruffling the feathers of those poor colonists.

Go to Googleclassroom and do the assignment.

READING

Since only five of you have 100 knowledge points in Readtheory….all I am asking for reading is that YOU DO READTHEORY AND GET 100 POINTS IN READTHEORY BY TONIGHT – remember to set the dates when you check.

Of course keep on reading those chapter books!

Language Arts – Poetry Elements — ends poetry for us this year

GO TO LANGUAGE ARTS IXL DO L.1 and L.2 – remember try to get 80 -100

I almost forgot – look at those socks!

There’s those bows!!!

He is hiding his socks under penguins!!

DAILY TALK – WELL YOU KNOW TODAY WAS A SAD DAY.
