Today we reviewed and practiced the new lessons in math involving the addition and subtraction of decimal numbers so there is no math homework except ZEARN lesson 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I asked the students to take home our mentor book, Esperanza Rising, and to reread chapter 4. I told them they could reread by themself or a parent can read with them. We will be doing a detailed summary in class tomorrow so I need the story to be fresh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Spelling fives times each is due Friday (test Friday).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MANY of the kids have colds and some allergies. I asked them to get extra sleep, eat healthy, cover their mouths, and wash their hands. I know this is so basic, but I am surprised at the number of sick kids.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
