All the students were shown how to do this in class and should be checking at least a couple of times each week, there should be <span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">no surprises at report card time<\/span>. In middle school all students get six report cards about six weeks apart from each other so the <span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">first report card marking is coming up soon<\/span>. The first marking period usually has the least amount of summative work (tests and quizzes) because of all the beginning of the year work built into our day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\">Many, many students are not completing their work &#8211; this does affect grades. \u00a0Many, many students are also not putting their <span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">names<\/span> on their work. If your student feels they turned it in and it is showing missing they should look in the &#8220;no name bin&#8221;, find their paper, put their name on it and turn it into the white basket by the door.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffff99;\">If your student was <span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">absent<\/span> it is their middle school responsibility to get their missing work and stay after school for help if needed. It is their responsibility to turn in any missing work into the white basket by the door.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Math 1 and 2<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Complete the divisibility rules worksheet using the foldable we made today in class and is glued into the interactive student notebook.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ccffff;\">Finish the <span style=\"color: #ff99cc;\">ilearn quizzes for the timed tests<\/span> which was <span style=\"color: #ff99cc;\">supposed to be completed during the summer<\/span>. It is quiz grade on the first report card &#8211; this is a district mandate.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ccffff;\"> \u00a0Also finish working on <span style=\"color: #ff99cc;\">KAHN academy<\/span> which was also be <span style=\"color: #ff99cc;\">completed during the summer<\/span>, this is also a quiz grade on the first report card &#8211; district mandate.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\">Science 3-1 and 3-2<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\">Complete the back side of the THEIVES worksheet (VES) that we started yesterday and worked on today &#8211; you need to take your book home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffff00;\">REMEMBER TOMORROW IS OUR FIELD TRIP. \u00a0WEAR SHOES THAT CAN GET DIRTY, DRESS FOR A RAINY DAY AND BRING A LUNCH FROM HOME. ******************************************************************<span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">*IMPORTANT<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parents and students please look at your grades online.
