(This is the case in every math class in the district). The unit that we are not going to get to in 7th grade is Statistics and Probability.  To help out with this issue a bit, I&#8217;m going to assign different standards in that unit on Khan Academy in the next couple of weeks.  I will let the students know when each one will be due, and I will update them on the blog.<br \/>\nIn order to get an &#8220;A&#8221; on each assignment, students need to get to the &#8220;Practiced&#8221; level.<br \/>\nThey can earn an &#8220;A+&#8221; if they get to the &#8220;Mastered&#8221; level.<br \/>\nThey can earn a &#8220;C&#8221; if they are at the &#8220;Struggling&#8221; level.<br \/>\nThey will earn an &#8220;E&#8221; if they are at the &#8220;Needs Practice&#8221; level, as that means they have not attempted any of the problems.<\/p>\n<p>There will be <strong>no late grades<\/strong> available for these assignments.<br \/>\nThey will be formative grades.<\/p>\n<p>The first standard will be <strong>&#8220;Simple Probability&#8221;<\/strong>.  It is <strong>due on Monday,  April 30.<\/strong><br \/>\nStudents can access the standard by clicking their name in the top, right hand corner.
