Khan Academy for April for Mr. Suni\u2019s classes: <\/p>\n
On the MSTEP, the 7th grade will be tested on every unit, including Statistics and Probability, which we won\u2019t have had time to cover by the time we take the test. So\u2026\u2026..
\nEach Monday, a new set of Statistics standards will be due on Khan Academy. Mr. Suni will be recommending the required strands each week. Students can see them by clicking the bell on the top right corner of their screen.
\n If students are in the needs practice range, they will receive an \u201cE\u201d because they haven\u2019t attempting any of the problems. If students are in the struggling range, they will receive a \u201cC\u201d for the strand. Students will need to reach practiced in each standard to receive a \u201cB-\u201d for each standard. They will need to reach level 1 to receive a \u201cB+.\u201d They will need to reach level 2 or mastered to receive an \u201cA.\u201d In order to move up a level they have to finish a Mastery Challenge in that standard. The Mastery Challenge doesn\u2019t show up for the student until 16 hours after they have completed 5 problems in a row correct, with no hints. (So if you are trying to get an \u201cA\u201d, waiting until the last minute won\u2019t work.)
\nThere will be no late grades during the month for Khan Academy.<\/p>\n
Since students will be required to be doing more on Khan Academy during the month, there will be less homework given throughout the month.<\/p>\n
