Welcome to a new year of Physical Education at Henry Ford!\u00a0 I hope you made time for fun activities and lots of movement this summer.\u00a0 I also hope you made room for fresh fruits and veggies!<\/p>\n

This first marking period, all grades will be working on the Soccer Instep Kick.<\/p>\n

Kindergarten and 1st Grades will also be working on hopping on one and two feet.<\/p>\n

Second grade will also be working on galloping and some foot dribble.<\/p>\n

Third grade will also be working on foot dribble.<\/p>\n

Fourth and 5th Grades will also be working on foot dribble and of course running the 13 (for 4th Grade) and 15 (for 5th Grade) minute runs!<\/p>\n

Running Club for 4th and 5th Graders will start up at the end of September.\u00a0 Permission slips will go home soon.<\/p>\n

Student Physical Education (P.E.) Contracts for 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades will be going home this or next week.\u00a0 They must be sign by a parent\/caregiver and returned to me before next Friday, September 12th!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Don’t forget your gym clothes – -stretchy pants or shorts, no jeans or jean shorts, stretchy shirts (not too long), hair ties, clips or sweatbands and, of course, gym shoes!<\/p>\n

See you in the gym!!!!<\/p>\n
