Swimming was fun!\u00a0 The 4th and 5th grade students have been swimming for the past 2 weeks.\u00a0 They worked on\u00a0 kicking and the front crawl arm stroke.\u00a0 They also learned to float on their stomach and back.\u00a0 It is very important for all children to learn how to swim.\u00a0 Good news for Dearborn children concerning swim Lessons!\u00a0 The Dearborn Community Education Department has swim lesson classes in Dearborn Schools in the evenings!!!<\/strong>\u00a0 They also have basketball\u00a0 classes, volleyball classes and karate classes.\u00a0 I will be sending home information with the 4th and 5th graders.\u00a0 If you would like to check it out, go to the website:<\/p>\n

All classes are working on throwing and catching and skipping.\u00a0 Please make sure to practice outside!<\/p>\n

4th and 5th graders – Don’t forget to do your stretches EVERYDAY<\/strong>!\u00a0 Your sit and reach test<\/strong> is in a month!\u00a0 We will be starting with batting this coming Monday!<\/p>\n

For those of you who love football and\/or Michigan State, I will be attending the Michigan State Spring Football Game this Saturday (4\/22\/2016).\u00a0 I’m very excited to see my Spartans in action!\u00a0 GO GREEN!!!<\/strong><\/p>\n
