{"id":235,"date":"2016-01-29T16:17:01","date_gmt":"2016-01-29T21:17:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/suarezpe\/?p=235"},"modified":"2016-01-29T16:25:40","modified_gmt":"2016-01-29T21:25:40","slug":"good-bye-2nd-hello-3rd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/suarezpe\/2016\/01\/29\/good-bye-2nd-hello-3rd\/","title":{"rendered":"Good bye 2nd, hello 3rd!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Good bye 2nd Marking Period, we&#8217;ll see you next year.\u00a0 Hello 3rd Marking Period, glad you&#8217;re here!!!<\/p>\n<p>Lots of fun and learning is going to happen this marking period.\u00a0 The &#8220;big&#8221; sport for the upper grades is<strong> VOLLEYBALL<\/strong>!\u00a0 Students will be serving\u00a0 and playing the game of volleyball!!\u00a0 This is one of my favorite sports.\u00a0 I played on the\u00a0 volleyball teams at Dearborn High School, Henry Ford Community College (Class B State Champs!) and Michigan State University.\u00a0 If you go to the Hall of Fame Restaurant in East Lansing, you will see a picture of the MSU Volleyball Team.\u00a0 Look for me &#8211; I&#8217;m number 31!<\/p>\n<p>4th\u00a0 and 5th Grade students will be strengthening their core muscles by working on their sit ups.<\/p>\n<p>3rd Graders will be working on their jumping rope and underhand strike.<\/p>\n<p>Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Graders\u00a0 will be working on catching fly balls and sliding sideways.<\/p>\n<p>Lots of things to do this marking period, so let&#8217;s get going!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Good bye 2nd Marking Period, we&#8217;ll see you next year.\u00a0 Hello 3rd Marking Period, glad you&#8217;re here!!!
