modeling clay (<strong><em>because this requires the use of a stove, make sure there is an adult available to help)<\/em><\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Homemade Air-Dry Modeling Clay {aka baking soda clay}<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 cups of baking soda<\/li><li>1 cup of cornstarch<\/li><li>1 1\/4 cups of water<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Place all ingredients into a pot over medium heat. &nbsp;Stir the mixture almost constantly, until it thickens and becomes the consistency of whipped mashed potatoes. &nbsp;Let cool and then knead until smooth and no longer sticky.
