The past two weeks have flown by and we are learning so much. Here is a recap of what we have been working on and what is to come.<\/p>\n
Math<\/strong><\/p>\n In math we have been working on adding and subtracting with regrouping and borrowing. This past week we began center rotations to help work on specific math skills.\u00a0 We will begin working on fractions and equations with fractions for the rest of September.<\/p>\n Social Studies<\/strong><\/p>\n We are very lucky to join Ms. Manning for Social Studies.\u00a0 We have been working on map skills as well as the start of the 13 colonies in America. We will start to talk about the French and Indian War next week.<\/p>\n ELA<\/strong><\/p>\n Students have Ms. Argue for ELA. They have been working hard with skills testing and will begin doing centers in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n Science<\/strong><\/p>\n We are very lucky to join Ms. Dicks for Science. We have already been experimenting with prototypes of paper airplanes. In the next few weeks we will be creating rocket launchers.<\/p>\n Lab\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n During lab we work on finishing up our assignments, reading, and working on the computer for math skills.\u00a0 Wednesday we have social group during lab and Fridays we have fun Friday for students that earn 50 dojo points during the week.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" The past two weeks have flown by and we are learning so much.
