Hello Families!<\/p>\n

For the last 6 weeks our class has been participating in a nutrition program sponsored by the National Kidney Foundation of Michigan. Each week the children followed our broccoli super hero Regie Rainbow on his adventures through islands of different colors. At each island we tried different fruits and vegetables to earn our “power stripes” \u00a0and participated in exercises to make our bodies strong. The program culminated this week with a visit from Regie himself!<\/p>\n

Regie came to our school to read the children a story and talk about making healthy choices for food and exercise. Regie even had time to join us for a bit during work time!<\/p>\n
