Hello families!<\/p>\n

This week we focused on math and science skills while exploring pumpkins. The children made predictions about the circumference of their pumpkins (how far around) with string and then tested their ideas by comparing them to the size. The next day we measured our pumpkins using unifix cubes and counted how many cubes high each pumpkin was. Lastly, the children created hypotheses (guesses) about what was inside of their pumpkins and then opened them to see if they were correct.<\/p>\n

Parent Teacher Conferences<\/strong><\/p>\n

Parent teacher conferences will be Thursday November 8th and November 15th. Please click on the conference tap at the top of the page for your child’s time. The list is posted outside our classroom door and a reminder will be sent home in your child’s folder as well.<\/p>\n

Election Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be no school Tuesday, November 6th for Election Day.<\/p>\n

Half Day<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thursday, NOvember 8th will be a half day of school for children. Ms. Thabet and I will be holding Parent Teacher Conferences in the afternoon.<\/p>\n
