Our pattern this week is long and short u.<\/p>\n
Pattern words – cut, cute, tub, tube, cub<\/p>\n
Sight words – blue, use, apple, here, find<\/p>\n
Our Social Studies test on Communities will be on Thursday. \u00a0There is a study guide in your child’s folder. Please help them read over the information. You may want to ask them questions based on the study guide.<\/p>\n
Friday morning we will do Apple Day from 9:30 – 10:30. We will be doing a variety of apple activities as we move around the room. Please send in an apple or two this week, \u00a0if possible. We will use them to make applesauce.<\/p>\n
The Halloween Parade is in the afternoon on Friday at 2:00. If the weather is good, we will parade around the track. You are welcome to come and watch. We will put on our costumes (no weapons please) \u00a0after lunch at 1:00. \u00a0If you would like to send in a Halloween treat to share we have 28 students.<\/p>\n
