We will get back to work tomorrow. \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Tomorrow we will have our spelling test for last weeks words.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Weekly Spelling Words<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Pattern &#8211; <em>oil, soil, moist, hoist, toy, joy, royal, loyal, coin, join<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Sight &#8211; <em>work, upon, our, black, pick<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Math<\/strong> &#8211; we are working on addition and subtraction strategies as well as making and reading graphs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Science<\/strong> &#8211; we are continuing to learn about how the Earth changes quickly and slowly, (earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, weathering and erosion).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We will begin our new<strong> social studies<\/strong> unit, How Do People Work Together in a Community?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>T-shirt orders are due on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #800080;\">VALENTINE&#8217;S DAY! If students would like to bring in Valentines for their classmates, we will share them in the afternoon\u00a0 on Wednesday.
