There is definitely something going around. I will be wiping down our classroom daily.<\/p>\n<p>Please have your child wash their hands as soon as they get home from school. But it really can\u2019t be stressed enough:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.webmd.com\/cold-and-flu\/cold-guide\/cold-prevention-hand-washing\" data-metrics-link=\"\" data-crosslink-type=\"article\">hand washing<\/a>\u00a0is a crucial way to prevent germs from spreading. About 80% of infectious diseases are spread by touch.<\/p>\n<p>If kids are going to wash their hands, teach them to do it right. Experts recommend scrubbing hands for 20 seconds or so &#8212; as long as it takes to sing \u201cHappy Birthday\u201d twice.
