These ideas all involve water so to eliminate a mess do this in the tub or outside if its warm enough. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toy Washing Station: Fill an empty plastic bin with soapy water and give your child toys to wash.\u00a0 (Make sure the toys are water safe!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"276\" height=\"183\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/sokoloski\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3012\/2020\/05\/toy-wash.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-784\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Sink or Float: Use the same toys or find different objects from around the house and see if they sink or float.\u00a0 This is a good time to practice vocabulary with your child.\u00a0 Model language by talking them through what happens to each object. Ex: \u201cWhat happened to the toy car? That car sunk to the bottom\u201d \u201cWhat do you think will happen to the ball? Look!
