Dear Parents and Students,<\/p>\n
It’s that time of year again when we count our blessings and help the less fortunate.\u00a0 This Friday<\/span><\/span> we are fund raising “Hats for Hunger” where students and staff members wear hats to school and each bring in a dollar.\u00a0 The money raised goes towards families who are in need, especially orphaned children.\u00a0 We are also hosting our annual Zaman Food Drive which begins tomorrow<\/span><\/span> and ends on the 19th.\u00a0 We are asking each staff member and student to bring a minimum of 5 cans\/bags\/or boxes of non perishable food items that are not expired. \u00a0It is extremely important to teach our children the \u00a0importance of being grateful for what we have and the importance of helping others.\u00a0 The donated food will go towards making baskets\/boxes for families in need in our community.\u00a0 Last year we donated 5000 food items, our goal this year is to donate 6000!!!
