All Dearborn Public Schools will be closed for students effective immediately, March 13, 2020. This is a result of Governor Whitmer\u2019s order to close all K-12 school buildings, public, private, and boarding, starting Monday, March 16 until Sunday, April 5. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dearborn Public Schools spring break will take place from Monday, April 6 through Friday, April 10. Students will return to school on Monday, April 13, 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Students may report on Friday, March 13, 2020 at the normal start time to pick up their belongings and school supplies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for assignments, please make sure to check the blog and Google Classroom regularly. As of now, students have been assigned 4 articles on ReadWorks to work on daily. These articles are to be completed within the timeframe provided so please make sure to check the due date. I will be posting an additional 4 articles a week after that. Students must also finish all of Zearn ( Modules 4-6). Please complete one lesson a day. I will be monitoring the students’ progress. Also, continue to complete 2 IXL tasks a day. In addition, students have their reading bags that they may read out of or their own personal books. If your child has their Eureka math books, please allow them to work on those lessons as well. Below is a recap of the information stated above and what to expect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Daily Student Work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1- Readworks Articles ( Science and SS topics)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2- At least 1 lesson of Zearn ( one lesson in the math books if they have it as well)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3- Complete 2 IXL tasks ( Reading and Math) daily<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4- Read for 30 minutes a day<\/p>\n\n\n\n
