<\/a><\/p>\nOur last feature was the reading of our All-School Story. \u00a0Each class wrote 2-3 sentences of a story before passing on the story to another class. \u00a0We were all very interested and curious to hear the final story.<\/p>\n

Today…<\/p>\n
WRITING and SPELLING-Instead of a Trial Spelling Test, we made a “rug” of “ug” words. \u00a0This gave them a chance to practice some of their spelling words. \u00a0Please remember to practice the words.<\/p>\n
MATH-I hide 10 sticks behind my back. \u00a0Next I pull out a few sticks. \u00a0They need to discover how many sticks are behind my back. \u00a0There are several strategies that they can use. \u00a0Try it at home.<\/p>\n
SCIENCE-We’re watching for any progress with our seeds that we planted and making entries in our Science Journals. \u00a0They wear their lab coats and act like real Scientists. \u00a0They observe, draw, and record their observations and findings.<\/p>\n
READING-Keep up the reading at home. \u00a0We’re still working towards an all-school goal of reading for 200,000 minutes. \u00a0We just have a few more days to reach our goal. \u00a0If we reach our goal, we will have a S’mores Party to celebrate our accomplishment.<\/p>\n
SOCIAL STUDIES-I assessed each of them on Unit 2 and all did very well! \u00a0I am pleased with their learning.<\/p>\n
Tomorrow evening (Thursday) I have conferences with some parents. \u00a0I have contacted those parents that I will be seeing this round.<\/p>\n
Friday is Howard’s Skate Night at Skateland West.<\/p>\n
