{"id":950,"date":"2015-02-24T08:44:48","date_gmt":"2015-02-24T13:44:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/?p=950"},"modified":"2015-02-24T08:44:48","modified_gmt":"2015-02-24T13:44:48","slug":"tuesday-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/2015\/02\/24\/tuesday-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Tuesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m so glad to be back! \u00a0We were missing 4 friends today&#8230;Sandy, Celina, Aya, and Lola. \u00a0We hope they will be back soon with us.<\/p>\n<p>We had a great day yesterday. \u00a0We talked a lot about\u00a0<strong>weather\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>temperature<\/strong> and the difference between them. \u00a0We had a Scavenger Hunt for Math-with partners, they found 3-D shaped objects in the room. \u00a0We read and wrote many words with the short\u00a0<strong>e\u00a0<\/strong>sound. \u00a0That&#8217;s a tricky sound to hear. \u00a0Think &#8220;<strong>e<\/strong><strong>gg.&#8221; \u00a0<\/strong>Say <strong>egg<\/strong>\u00a0slowly to hear the short\u00a0<strong>e<\/strong> sound. \u00a0We had READ TO SELF and they were amazing with their\u00a0reading\u00a0stamina. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>For Math today we will be discovering the dime. \u00a0Since we&#8217;ve already explored the penny and nickel,at this rate, by June I might be teaching them about how investments or the Stock Market! \u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m ready for another day of fun and discovery with my students!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m so glad to be back! \u00a0We were missing 4 friends today&#8230;Sandy, Celina, Aya, and Lola. \u00a0We hope they will be back soon with us.
