(morning, afternoon, evening) \u00a0You might even try to have your student fill in the blank with a food that starts with &#8220;<strong>c,&#8221;\u00a0<\/strong>which is our letter of the week. (See how sneaky I can be with my lesson plans!)<\/p>\n<p>MATH-We&#8217;ll be working with the Number Line. \u00a0&#8220;Where will you end up if you start on 0 and take 2 steps forward? \u00a0&#8220;If you start on 4, how many steps will it take to get to 8?&#8221; \u00a0&#8220;If you are on 7, and take 5 steps back, where will you end up?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Within the next 2 weeks I will be assessing the students on writing the numbers 0-30. \u00a0We have been practicing this. \u00a0Have them write the numbers<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"> by themselves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>SOCIAL STUDIES-I will also be assessing them on Needs\/ Wants \u00a0 Goods\/ Services. \u00a0Have a conversation about those topics. \u00a0They are doing quite well with those units of study.<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>WED., -LATE START<\/p>\n<p>-Library Day \u00a0 \u00a0Let&#8217;s see if EVERYONE can bring in their book this week!<\/p>\n<p>-Holiday Boutique shopping \u00a0 Notes went home today. \u00a0The students always enjoy going &#8220;shopping&#8221; on their own.<\/p>\n<p>Our Holiday Party will be Thursday, Dec. 18. \u00a0Mrs. Luckey and Mrs. Hider will be contacting you if anything is needed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On a personal note&#8230;my husband will be having surgery on Friday. \u00a0He will be in ICU for 5-6 days. \u00a0I plan to be here as much as I can. \u00a0My dear friend, and wonderful sub, Mrs. Balaka will be here for me.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Smith<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Only 2 weeks left before Christmas Break&#8230;time goes so quickly!
