{"id":741,"date":"2014-09-24T12:43:07","date_gmt":"2014-09-24T16:43:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/?p=741"},"modified":"2014-09-24T12:43:07","modified_gmt":"2014-09-24T16:43:07","slug":"wednesday-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/2014\/09\/24\/wednesday-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Wednesday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just thought I&#8217;d drop a note about today.<\/p>\n<p>READING-We introduced READ TO SOMEONE. \u00a0Each student has a partner with whom they will read. \u00a0This goes along with our Literacy Program. \u00a0We already do READ TO SELF daily.<\/p>\n<p>We are working on increasing reading\u00a0<strong>Stamina<\/strong>. \u00a0Students are up to reading to reading for 4 minutes to ourselves! \u00a0Great work for beginning Kindergarten.<\/p>\n<p>Next week I will start Reading Groups.<\/p>\n<p>MATH-We are using those egg cartons for counting beans, pennies, mini blocks, and buttons. \u00a0Good practice for One to One matching.<\/p>\n<p>WRITING-We made a list of our 5 Senses. \u00a0Naturally I wanted to keep them to hang up&#8230;they want to take them home. \u00a0That always happens!<\/p>\n<p>This afternoon they have gym and Library book return.<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for the snacks. \u00a0We have a nice supply for now. \u00a0I&#8217;ll let you know when the supply starts dwindling.<\/p>\n<p>Another busy day in Kindergarten!<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Smith<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I just thought I&#8217;d drop a note about today.
