READING-Our word of the week is “I.”<\/strong> \u00a0Today we made a book using the word “I”. \u00a0Please look for the book to come home today. \u00a0Have them read the book to you, sibblings, grandparents, the dog, pet fish, … \u00a0The more they read, the more fluent they become and FLUENCY is part of reading! \u00a0How about that-a book already and it’s only day #5 of school.<\/p>\n WRITING-We made the book. \u00a0We wrote several letters as we wrote the words in the book.<\/p>\n MATH-Count, Count, Count! \u00a0I am assessing their counting as we play some games on the Promethean Board. \u00a0Keep counting and problem solving at home.<\/p>\n MUSIC & GYM started today. \u00a0Please make sure your child wears gym shoes on gym days (Mondays and Wednesdays).<\/p>\n Of course we read stories every day and will usually have centers. \u00a0We are busy in here.<\/p>\n I began my morning today by telling them how amazing they were last week with all of that heat! \u00a0So hot for their beginning of Kindergarten. \u00a0I took them to the Library in the middle of the afternoon to cool off. \u00a0Lots of drinks and calmness and they persevered.
