We really wanted them to stay in our room. So, we wrote a proposal to Mrs. Anderson, Jason&#8217;s mom, defining our responsibilities, should she accept our proposal.\u00a0 After over an hour of brainstorming, drafting, and editing, we finally had our proposal ready.\u00a0 Mrs. Anderson came back to school and we presented Our Toad Proposal to her.<a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/398\/2014\/06\/pro.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-609\" src=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/398\/2014\/06\/pro-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"pro\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/398\/2014\/06\/pro-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/398\/2014\/06\/pro-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/smiths\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/398\/2014\/06\/pro.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Good news!\u00a0 She accepted our proposal so we had to get busy preparing the habitats.\u00a0 Yesterday we spent all morning gathering the sand, dirt, rocks, sticks, leaves, and food (roly-polys) for our new classroom visitors.\u00a0 We had job assignments and we have our &#8220;misters&#8221; for each day.\u00a0 We must remember not to mist too much&#8230;otherwise we will make mud!<\/p>\n<p>The 4 habitats are on the tables of each group in the room.\u00a0 The kids are very excited and interested.\u00a0 I hope the toads are happy too! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week we became quite interested and attached to our visiting toads.
