Happy May! \u00a0Where is this year going??<\/p>\n

We begin our last Reading Unit.<\/p>\n

Theme is “I Know \u00a0A Lot!”<\/p>\n

Unit is\u00a0Show What You Know<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will be sharing, exploring, and realizing some of the many things we have learned this year.<\/p>\n

LETTERS- \u00a0J \u00a0j \u00a0 \u00a0Q \u00a0q<\/p>\n

WORDS-With \u00a0 with \u00a0 My \u00a0 my<\/p>\n

My students have been writing and reading these words for a long time and are quite comfortable reading and writing them already.<\/p>\n

WRITING-Questions and Answers (Informational)<\/p>\n

COMPREHENSION-We’ll be discussing the most important part of a story or article. \u00a0You can do this at home with your child after you’ve shared a book together (or even a TV show).<\/p>\n

MATH-We’ll be making something with beads. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0Also, practice some skip counting by 5’s and 10’s with your child. \u00a0Give them a multiple of 5 or 10 and have them count on….”25″ \u00a0they count on with “30, 35, 40,…”<\/p>\n

We are excited about our time with Moms this Friday at 9:00 am. \u00a0It won’t be for very long…maybe until 9:45.<\/p>\n
