You may have heard that our Playhouse has had a renovation as is now a restaurant! \u00a0It is called\u00a0“Pete’s Place–Where the food is ALL GOOD!”\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0 Today will be our Grand Opening. \u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00a0The kids have really grabbed on to this idea and are sooo excited about this venture. \u00a0A big thanks to Mrs. Wright, Trent’s mom, for providing “Guest Receipts” for our waitstaff! \u00a0The kids have created a menu, complete with prices. \u00a0I will have them use my calculators and cash registers \u00a0to total the bills and to make change. \u00a0Yesterday, Amira listed all of the students’ names, in case they wanted to make a reservation at\u00a0Pete’s Place.<\/strong> \u00a0Isabella made a sign last week for our big Pete to carry. \u00a0It says “Eat at Pete’s! \u00a0It’s all good.” \u00a0We put a chef’s hat on him and draped a towel over his arm. \u00a0Madilyn and Nour made a sign to hang around Pete’s neck saying, what else but “OPEN\/CLOSED.” \u00a0It now will be someone’s job to flip the sign at the start and end of the day.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
