Students are rolling along quite well with their reading and writing. \u00a0They are able to write several sentences on a single topic and remember to begin with capital letters, put spaces between words, and end with punctuation. \u00a0WOW! \u00a0They are quite used to the WRITING PROCESS-Rough draft, Revise, Edit, and Publish. \u00a0Amazing writers and readers. \u00a0Thanks for your support at home.<\/p>\n
Thanks for helping your child remember his\/her Library Book today. \u00a0We only had 2 people who couldn’t check out a new book because they didn’t have their Library Book. \u00a0Great Job!<\/p>\n
SCIENCE-Potatoes are soaking in water and we sure do wish they would sprouts some roots. \u00a0We keep watching, waiting, and hoping for some activity.<\/p>\n
Please continue working with math number awareness…creating number stories (using numbers greater than 15), writing the number sentences, greater than, less than, 3-D shapes, money (penny, nickel, dime, quarter, dollar) and time (hour and half hour). \u00a0Haven’t they come a long way from the one-to-one counting of objects to 5 or 10??<\/p>\n
